Ruby May Golnick, 66, of Garner, Iowa, tragically passed away on the morning of Wednesday, June, 2025, as a result of a motorcycle accident on U.S. Highway 18 in Floyd County.

Born in 1958, Ruby was known for her adventurous spirit and love of the open road. Her life was filled with a deep appreciation for nature, motorcycles, and the freedom of travel. Ruby’s warmth, independence, and zest for life left an impression on all who knew her.

She is remembered by family, friends, and her community as a kind-hearted soul who embraced each day with courage and compassion. Her passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, but her memory will remain in the hearts of those who loved her.

The accident occurred around 9:10 a.m. near mile marker 211 when Ruby’s motorcycle was struck by a semi-truck. The driver of the truck was not injured.

Funeral arrangements are pending and will be announced by the family in the coming days.

Ruby May Golnick will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
